Flight Authorization & Certification Engineer (6 Month Fixed-Term Contract(CDD))
Work on obtaining flight approvals and regulatory technical work to enable Dawn's spaceplane operations in Europe. Role sits between engineering, flight operations and regulatory affairs to translate technology into authorised flights.
What you'll do
- Coordinate activities to obtain flight authorisations for European operations
- Prepare authorisation submissions, safety assessments and technical evidence
- Conduct operational and technical risk assessments and define mitigations
- Coordinate vehicle, payload and flight readiness with engineering and operations
- Manage regulatory actions, milestones and technical deliverables
What they're looking for
- Degree in aerospace, aeronautical, systems, mechanical engineering or related
- Experience turning technical or regulatory requirements into engineering solutions
- Experience preparing technical documentation, safety cases or regulatory submissions
- Ability to coordinate technical and project activities across multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
