Hands-on R&D Technician role on a 12-month fixed-term project developing a fleet-focused postal delivery electric vehicle. Join the product development team to build, test and refine prototypes and vehicle systems.

What you'll do

Build and modify prototype vehicles, components and systems
Fabricate custom parts and realise engineering concepts
Set up and execute tests for parts, systems and vehicle designs
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and investigate failures
Record test results and maintain technical documentation

What they're looking for

1-3 years hands-on mechanical and/or electrical experience
Strong workshop skills and confidence with tools
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and test procedures
Good computer literacy and attention to detail
Permanent right to work in New Zealand (no visa sponsorship)
