CNC Machinist - Christchurch
Hands-on CNC machinist role producing flight hardware for satellite propulsion and a spaceplane. Part of the manufacturing team responsible for taking parts from CAM programming to production.
What you'll do
- Create and optimise CNC programs using CAM software
- Design and implement fixturing for repeatable machining
- Set up and operate CNC machines and prove new programs
- Inspect finished components with precision measuring equipment
- Improve cycle times, tooling and manufacturing processes

- 5+ years CNC machining experience
- Proven programming, setup and operation of CNC machines
- Ability to read engineering drawings and complex GD&T
- Experience inspecting precision components to specification
- Strong problem-solving and clear communication skills
