Satellite Communications Engineer
Engineer responsible for end-to-end satellite communications as an operational mission system. Works with spacecraft, ground segment, software, and external partners to integrate, validate, and operate the RF signal chain.
What you'll do
- Own the full communications chain from operator terminal to spacecraft interfaces
- Integrate and validate communications hardware, software, and external services
- Plan and run communications and interference testing and system bring-up
- Coordinate with external partners and service providers on integrations
- Support regulatory inputs for licensing and spectrum coordination
What they're looking for
- Bachelor or Master in relevant engineering field or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with verification, troubleshooting, EMI/EMC and debugging across subsystems
- Practical experience with RF communication chains and system integration
- Experience coordinating technical integration with external vendors or partners
- Familiarity with radios, antennas, cabling, link configurations, test equipment
