Senior Production Engineer

Lead the development of manufacturing strategy and production systems for a reusable spaceplane. Role sits on the spaceplane programme and reports to the VP of Spaceplanes, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and programme management.

What you'll do

  • Develop long-term production strategy for multiple spaceplanes per year
  • Define production operating model for R&D to production transition
  • Design and implement scalable manufacturing processes
  • Improve manufacturability by working with design engineers
  • Establish production planning, documentation, and continuous improvement systems

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years transitioning products from R&D to production
  • Experience scaling prototype builds to repeatable production
  • Knowledge of aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments
