Senior Software Engineer (ASR - Edge)
Senior Software Engineer responsible for Auror’s Subject Recognition (ASR) edge capabilities. Role sits in the ASR software engineering team collaborating across product, engineering and commercial teams.
What you'll do
- Design and build subject recognition features across camera, server and cloud
- Create evaluation tooling to compare and calibrate recognition models
- Implement observability: tracing, structured logging, metrics and alerts
- Improve edge reliability and debug issues across stack layers
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for device-deployed artefacts
What they're looking for
- 5+ years across software, systems or infrastructure engineering
- Experience with containerised workloads on edge or embedded Linux devices
- Strong debugging across process, container, host, network and cloud
- Hands-on observability tooling and distributed tracing experience
- Familiarity with .NET and C# or ability to learn quickly
