Continuous Improvement Engineer
Investigate field product failures and drive engineering improvements for UBCO's electric utility vehicles. Work across product development, production, service, and supply chain to implement and verify solutions.
What you'll do
- Own investigations into field issues, failures, warranty claims and safety concerns
- Analyse customer feedback, service data, testing results and product performance
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to prioritise and drive improvements
- Develop, validate and implement practical engineering solutions
- Verify implemented solutions deliver intended field outcomes

- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline plus 3+ years' relevant experience
- Or significant equivalent industry experience (typically 8+ years)
- Permanent work rights in New Zealand required
- Strong analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and test results
